Electro-Magfield Controls and Services (EMCS), a pioneer in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) was envisioned way back in the year 1985 by its founder M. V. Rajamani. Formerly known as Flawcheck Devices, the company began operations in Kolkata and soon shifted its base to Chennai owing to a fast-expanding pool of clientele. Over the years, EMCS has become a brand to reckon with, strengthening its position as the undisputed leader in this field.

What we do:

EMCS has a sprawling manufacturing unit spread over 10, 000sqft. The company relies on non-destructive testing and analysis techniques to evaluate the properties of a material, component, structure, or system for characteristic differences or welding defects and discontinuities without causing damage to the original part.  A competent workforce comprising a diligent team of technical and non-technical personnel enables the smooth functioning and quality of its products and services. With utmost stress on research and development, the company guarantees the integration of technology and human excellence for each of its manufactured products.

Our Managing Director:

Vivek, son of M. V. Rajamani,  is armed with over 25 years of experience in the field and is an ASNT Level III in MPI, DP. He joined the company right after his graduation. Working alongside his father, Vivek not only gained experience and expertise but also helped steer the company’s growth. His perseverance and zeal have taken the company to newer heights. Under his mentorship, the company has earned many accolades including Best Innovate Machine Manufacturing, and the company’s presence in top companies. It was also under his guidance that EMCS undertook many joint ventures with IIT Chennai that have ensured the application of technology and innovation to the machines.
